On our opening weekend a customer was starting to tell me about a highlighter that they really liked and before the name of the brand could escape their lips, I said, "Stabilo?!" and they said, "Yes!" And then I went on and on because I had just placed an order for Stabilo highlighters and fineliner pen sets! I also mistakenly assumed they were an Italian company and was corrected that they were German, pronounced "SCHTablio". I had been mispronouncing the name of this classic highlighter for decades.
Anyway they have just arrived and what a great highlighter to have in the shop just in time for the start of the school year!
You can put such study tools in fun spacious pouches we just got in from Zipit (a Massachusetts company!) and some cute retro sturdy hard cases by Japanese brand, Penco.
Fernie Floral, local floral arranger extraordinaire will be joining me on Saturday as she as done in the past to sell some gorgeous bouquets!
AND the shop is opening at 11 starting this weekend!
