Paper as Process: Journaling Workshop with Christina Gay
This beginner’s workshop will look at collage as a relaxing and interactive way to process feelings, record your thoughts, and document your life. You will be given permission to play with paper: either in a journal, a planner, or notebooks. We encourage you to bring ephemera, stickers, pictures, or any paper that is meaningful to you. We will provide notebooks (feel free to bring your own!), markers, glue, scissors, washi tape, and stickers to help you explore different ways to work on paper. The goal is for you to leave inspired to incorporate a journaling practice in your daily life. This workshop will be led by Christina Gay, LCSW. Christina is a therapist and life-long arts and crafts hobbyist carrying two chonky journals at any given moment. She wants everyone to use the nice stickers instead of hoarding them forever.
Each attendee will receive a saddle stitch notebook and their choice of 1 sticker sheet and 1 washi tape from the shop to take home.
