May Day Poster (Riso, Signed and Numbered)

In the style of Walter Crane’s "May Day Garland", artist Brendan Flannelly-King @flannellyking and Works on Paper have collaborated on a 2026 May Day poster project to celebrate the care workers in our community. People who perform care work are routinely unpaid, underpaid and/or constantly struggling within a system that puts profits over the health and well-being of the people they claim to be serving. 3/4 of all of the worlds unpaid care work is done by women and girls.

Proceeds from the poster will go to The Franklin County People’s Fund, a mutual aid fund in western Massachusetts that redistributes resources to people in Franklin County facing financial emergencies and family separation due to deportation, incarceration, and housing instability.
